Water

If you’ve been reading through this site for a while, you’ve probably noticed that I write about water with a level of detail that goes beyond general wellness content. There’s a reason for that — and it’s personal. This is the story of how I got here. It Started with a Health Crisis I Couldn’t…

I’ll be honest with you — I didn’t set out to become someone who thinks deeply about water quality. I set out to be a good steward of my family’s health. Water just happened to be where that journey kept leading me back. If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably already spent more money than…

There’s a category of things that affect your health so gradually and so consistently that you never connect them to how you feel. They don’t cause a dramatic reaction. They don’t show up on a blood test. They just quietly shape your baseline over months and years, until that baseline feels normal — even when…

I remember the first time I started seriously looking into water systems. I had a specific set of problems I was trying to solve — skin and hair issues that products weren’t fixing and perpetual thirst — and I thought I’d spend an hour or two doing some research and come out the other side…

There’s a question I wish someone had asked me years earlier, when I was spending real money on skincare products and still couldn’t get consistent results: What’s in the water you’re using to wash your face? Not the cleanser. Not the moisturizer. The water itself — the thing your skin contacts before any product touches…

If you’ve ever invested real time and money into a skincare routine — the right cleanser, a good moisturizer, maybe a targeted serum or two — and still couldn’t get your skin to behave consistently, I want you to consider something you’ve probably never been told to look at. The water. Not the products. Not…

I’ll be honest — when I first heard about water-only face washing, I was skeptical. It sounded like one of those minimalist wellness trends that work great for people with perfect skin who never wear sunscreen or makeup, or spend time outside. Not exactly practical for a busy homeschooling boy-mom who’s also gardening, cooking from…

I used to have a pretty solid skincare routine. Nothing fancy — just the kind of careful, intentional approach you’d expect from someone who reads ingredient labels and avoids synthetic additives. As a natural health educator for over a decade, I thought I had it figured out. Then I started learning more about water pH,…
